Dr Jessica Nash

Personal Info

Jessica is a Respiratory and Sleep physician with subspeciality expertise in lung
cancer and nodule management. She obtained her medical degree from Monash
University before undertaking her Basic Physician Training at the Royal Melbourne
Hospital. Jessica completed her specialist training at Western Health and Austin
Health, which provided broad exposure to the management of respiratory and sleep
disorders, including airways disease, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, pulmonary
embolism, and sleep disorders including ventilatory failure.

After obtaining her fellowship qualification, she relocated to Perth, where she
undertook a PhD exploring patterns of lung cancer care. During this time, she
worked across Sir Charles Gairdner and Fiona Stanley Hospitals. Having returned to
Melbourne, Jessica holds appointments at Western and Northern Health, where she
is the Nodule service clinical lead.

In addition to lung cancer and nodules, Jessica is interested in the management of
airways disease and sleep-related breathing disorders such as sleep apnoea. She
strives to provide personalised, evidence-based care; communicate clearly and
honestly; and ensure timely communication with referring colleagues.

Jessica is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), and a
member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), European
Respiratory Society (ERS), International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer
(IASLC) and Thoracic Oncology Group Australasia (TOGA).
