Specialist Consultation

Your journey with Sleep and Lung Care will usually begin by consulting with one of our specialists. First appointments are always in person at one of our clinics. Follow-up appointments may be by video. Our specialists are affiliated with major hospitals including The Austin Hospital, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Footscray Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and The Northern Hospital.


Our specialists also provide in-patient care to patients admitted into Warringal Private, Northern Private, John Fawkner Private and Northpark Private Hospitals.


During your initial consultation, depending on your health problem, you may need to have a lung function test which happens on-site. This will be conducted by a trained respiratory scientist. It is also advisable that you bring any recent investigation reports, such as blood test results, radiology results or sleep study reports, as well as your CPAP machine if you use one.


We know each patient’s journey is unique, and our specialists take pride in helping you understand your sleep and respiratory problems and providing a management plan specific to your needs.


Our specialists also work very closely with your GP to ensure your management plans are being carried out in the primary care setting. We also strongly believe in partnering with your primary care providers to improve your health outcomes.


A referral from your GP or specialist is required prior to your initial consultation.
