Dr Daniel Niewodowski is a respiratory and sleep medicine physician, and fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
Dr Niewodowski completed his medical training at Monash University. He later completed his respiratory and sleep medicine training at Alfred Health, Peninsula Health and Austin Health, garnering exposure to all facets of respiratory and sleep medicine.
He has worked in multiple interstitial lung disease clinics, the Victorian Respiratory Support Service to manage patients with complex sleep disorders, as well as with the Alfred intensive care unit and Lung Transplant Service.
Dr Niewodowski enjoys all aspects of respiratory and sleep medicine, with particular interests in chronic cough, asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases and sleep disorders.
Dr Niewodowski is a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), Australian Sleep Association (ASA), American Thoracic Society (ATS), Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR) and European Respiratory Society (ERS)
Dr Niewodowski strongly believes in open communication, placing importance on working with patients to meet their health goals, and empowering patients to take full control of their journey to a better health.
